Sinix is committed to restoring the Baltimore rock scene. We are a
300 capacity venue with a large stage, full lights and an amazing
sound system run by true professionals. We want bands to grow and
succeed so they can take their music to the next level. We also want
music fans to have the best time possible whenever they come out.
So we offer the best deals not only for our customers, but for the
bands as well.
All door money and all pre-sale ticket money goes directly to the
bands that perform each night. We do not take a percentage from the
bands nor do we charge fees for sound, pre-sale tickets or anything
else for that matter. We also allow each band a soundcheck and provide
tables and space for bands that wish to set up merch. What's the catch?
There is no catch. All we ask is that bands do what they normally
would and should do in order to put on a successful show.
While social netwroking sites such as myspace, facebook and twitter
our useful tools for promotion of your show, they are just a small
part of the battle. Fliers go a long way in helping promote a show.
We encourage bands to attend other shows, not just at Sinix, but at
other venues as well to hand out fliers and just talk to others in
the scene. If your band is playing at Sinix and you have other shows
in the area at different venues, we encourage you to hand out fliers
and promote those shows too. This is the most effective way to not
only promote your show, but it helps get your name out there as well.
Also when making fliers it's always good for bands to send us a copy
in .jpeg form so that we can add it to our sites and further promote
your show. Also Sinix does more advertising than any other live music
venue. We run regular radio, print and even TV ads. We also hand out
fliers and concert calendars to customers, other bands, members of
the media, folks in the music industry and all other parties that
frequent Sinix. We make every effort to make your show a hit and all
we ask is that you do the same.
